Sure is a personal finance app - track net worth, accounts, budgets and spending in one place. It's the actively maintained community fork of the Maybe Finance app, self-hosted so your financial data stays on your own instance.
Getting started
- Open your CApp URL and click create your account - enter any email and password, they're yours to keep using here.
- You're in immediately - no email verification step. The first account created on an instance automatically becomes its admin.
- Add an account (manually or by import) and start tracking.
Signups after the first account
By default anyone who finds your URL can register a second account. Once you're set up, go to Settings > Self-Hosting > Onboarding and switch it to Invite-only or Closed if this instance is just for you.
AI features
Optional chat/rules features that call OpenAI are off unless you configure an API key yourself - get in touch if you want that wired up.
